Notre-Dame de Paris officially reopens to the public starting December 8, 2024, following years of restoration. Here are the key details for visitors, including individuals, families, and groups, as well as reservation and pricing information.

First general admission for individuals (1 to 5 persons) after the renovation: Monday, December 9, starting at 3:30 PM
First group entry after the renovation: not before June 9, 2025. (booking system online starting March 2025). Groups: 6 to 25 max.

General Admission
Opening Hours: The cathedral will welcome visitors daily, with specific hours for different activities such as mass, guided tours, and private exploration.
Booking System: To manage high visitor demand, Notre-Dame requires advance reservations for entry. Bookings can be made online via the official website, with options for choosing specific time slots. Walk-ins are limited and subject to availability. The reservation for facilitated access to the cathedral will open two days prior, on Saturday, December 7.
Admission Costs: Entry is free for general access to the main cathedral for individual visitors, but specific guided tours or access to areas like the Treasury or the towers might have additional charges. These prices will be confirmed during the booking process.
Group Visits
Mandatory Reservation for Groups of 6 or more
Access to the cathedral for groups requires prior booking through our online system. Any group of six or more wishing to be accompanied by a tour guide must register via our dedicated platform.

Important: On-site registration will not be available.
Group Guidelines
Maximum Group Size: Groups must not exceed 25 people (excluding the guide).
Supervision Required: Groups must be accompanied by a guide holding a professional license (national tour guide or an active teacher).
Required Equipment: To ensure comfort for all and preserve the cathedral’s acoustics, groups must use audiophones. Rental of this equipment is available on-site.
Group visits will not be permitted:
During masses.
On Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:00 PM
*closing on Thursday at 10:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 8:15 AM – 7:30 PM
Last entry 30 minutes before closing.
Special Experience / Visit of the Treasury:
Admission fee, full price: €10
Reduced price: €6 (under 18 years old / job seekers with valid proof)
Free admission: Persons with disabilities and one companion (with valid proof)
Tickets can be purchased directly at the Treasury reception desk. No online reservations are available
